Said I was going to shoot a doe early in the year like I always say and did it today shot at 8:09 had it home by 9:00 and hanging in the cold storage by 9:40 cooling down. Hunting clothes being washed and sharpening up the knives.

Be out this afternoon, wind direction sucks for the main piece of private i hunt, so I will be going into some public this afternoon most likely that is setup correctly for this wind.

Tremendous morning...Lost count of how many deer I saw. 5 young bucks went by, biggest was probably a 6 point. This youngster was the highlight of the morning, stopping to eat acorns for a few minutes.
