Said I was going to shoot a doe early in the year like I always say and did it today shot at 8:09 had it home by 9:00 and hanging in the cold storage by 9:40 cooling down. Hunting clothes being washed and sharpening up the knives.

Took half the day clearing brush in the way to where i could get one od thr crossings by the green tuft in the creek, have her on a 2" alder should get some pics when tree is swaying at least 😅

I’m in! Out on my own ground behind the house in Allegan County. I’ve had a pretty buck hitting a scrape pretty consistently in front of the cell cam the last few days. Nice and early two nights ago in the heat. We shall see. Feels good to be out!
