Not a 15” but a 13” and a 29” walleye

 

I've seen some mounted on stringers that look pretty awesome.

 

Don't think I can add a fish already mounted to a stringer mount? If so I do like those to

 

Son caught these two perch in a very small gravel pit pond when he was around 7-8. Decided to get both mounted on a piece of driftwood.

 

The mount to my wife’s right is a single perch mounted on an acrylic/synthetic base, very lightweight. The three mounted on the driftwood behind her is an actual piece of wood, probably 12-13 lbs!

 

I like those 3 on the single piece of drift wood.

The single is similar to the way I have my one mounted now.

 

If you notice in this above picture, all those fish can be hung on a stringer and look good. Just one side may have to be against the wall or drift wood

 

here's some from BayBornandRaised, 17 1/4, 16 1/8, and 15 1/2. the 16 1/8 not in pic but mounted by same taxidermist. Fish of a lifetime.

 

My dad used to have a stringer mount all Simcoe fish. Giants. Not even sure what happened to it ! Was a stringer with a piece of wood behind it.

 

I had a few 14"-16" mounted separately over the years, when I caught the 4th one I combined them all into a fantasy stringer myself. Just an old metal stringer, chunk of driftwood from a local pond and a big rusty 16D nail. Not perfect but it works for me. If I add a 5th fish in the future, I'll take the whole thing to a taxi and let him fit it in properly. Maybe. Sounds like a hassle now that I think of it.

Always loved the stringer mounts of any Panfish really, but $$$'s ?....ugh huhh huhh, I've never even seen a 16" or even caught a 15"er either, lol !....

Not splitting hairs either, but there's a tiny bit of me thinking, a stringer mount is a lot "more" awesome if it reflects a single trip/an actual event....otherwise It'd be more of a fantasy stringer to me, lol....

Seen a couple of Duck's hanging from a game holder ? with marsh etc....was a Canvasback at Harsens Island dnr that was a "memorial" mount that was awesome....all good stuff !....

 

Here's a pair of 15" ones from a few years ago. I have 2 or 3 more over 14" in my freezer that I plan on adding to the school someday.
