G&F outdid themselves. Having MI and PA ahead of Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, and by a wide margin, is silly. How much public land should be ease of getting an out of state tag, otherwise I'm not sure how many residents in Iowa/Kansas complain. Length of season misses the point, number of gun/muzzy days makes the difference. They give such a low priority to trophy potential, why mention it. Other than that, pretty good rankings ha ha. As far as plain old deer crazed states, MI is as good as any. There is some good hunting, esp SLP private. jmo
