I took one out at the end of the bow season. I was taking pictures of the deer in my plot when they all ran off and when it passed the tree line I put an arrow through it's lower midsection. It ran off yelping into the swamp. Now I only see one on camera not the two. After seeing the two on the trail cam I know why I don't see any small deer.

Make a plan, breeding season starts next month. Removing 3 is a good start.

I've heard not sure the truth behind it 100% that the reason the flourish more than all other K9s and spread despite the effort to eradicate them is that when you kill the alpha female or male all the other females come into heat. Or if the male is killed subordinate males then mate all females. I'll still kill everyone I see lol. But would make sense fox and wolves were both hunted and trapped and poisoned to areas of extinction while the yote finds a wY and spread. When I was in alaska for 5 months in 07 some friends I made were long line trappers out of bethel ak. At the time they had trapped 3 totes ever in the area. Between them over 500 miles of trap line. In the next 5 years they were targeting them amd getting 15 or more a season.

They definitely like to fight. I was taking my setter for a walk several years ago and she ran down into the swamp to look for grouse and came out with two yotes hot on her tail. They had opened up her side a bit.
