I know it’s not going to be around here but this is where most of my peeps are so figured I’d post up. Kody bought me the nicest Pflueger I’ve seen for my birthday and said buy your own rod and get ready for salmon jigging this year lol. His cousin bought a river boat 2 years ago and he’s salmon crazy out there but Kody and I haven’t partook in the festivities yet. Welp this year it’s on and I guess from what all Kodys Charter buddy’s say it’s going to be an epic year and already catching. So I was at Grab Bag in Davison to pick up some perch gear(absolutely love that place) and gripped up a 7’ Fenwick HMG Inshore medium heavy fast action 1 piece. Man it feels good and strong. Can’t wait to give it a go! My rotator cuff is acting up thinking about it but I’ll pour some beer on it it’ll be ok. I Think this is going to be a nice setup. And great price on the rod as always, I’ve bought more rods from that place than anywhere else and they seem to be $35-$50 cheaper than most places.

I wonder how bad your back will hurt after doing that for 6 hours😂 it ain't easy. Much easier to sip beasts while trolling.

I'm not a silver fish guy. At all. Good friend has been jigging the kings for 20 plus years. I finally went. Let's just say my family is going into year 4 of a must do trip every year. Must have the weather and timing right though, we've had crazy good and very tough fishing. When you hook one though, SHAZAAAM. Like hooking the bumper of a passing truck

Days of going up and getting home in the wee hrs then back to work next day, them days are gone for me. Good once as I ever was. But then I got to rest for awhile.
