Maybe not. But this one looks tasteful.

 

That's really cool. I'm not a huge fan of the Euro with the bleached white skull but a wrap. That's a cool idea. Makes me want to see one in full real tree camo or maybe brown fur?

Lots of other ideas come to mind
as well...

It would be nice if you could just get an inexpensive DIY deer head only mount that didn't cost $1,000!

A wrap......like this ? We have had a lot done like this for the last 15+ years. I had the ruler in the photo to show the spread as I'm selling some of these to make room on the wall.

 

I was wondering why no lower jaw so I checked with the family member. His choice, it would have been the same price with a lower jaw included.
I scored a nice Euro recently with the lower jaw held in position by what look like hot glue. For demonstration purposes it's nice to have the jaw wired into place so that the mouth can be opened & closed.

The $135 was for both the Euro & dipping ? The family member just paid $95 for the Euro and then 125 for the dip.

I do my own. Really easy and costs less than $20. These are the last two I have done.

 

Are your skulls painted with a brush ?

No here is the process I use.

1)boil and clean them with borax and Dawn dish soap.
2)bag and tape off the antlers
3)spray paint two coats of primer
4)spray paint two-three coats of Rustoleum metallic hammered paint.
5) use a rubber glove and flick an opposing color of paint onto the skull
6) Lastly spray two coats of clear coat on them

 

This is my son’s we hydro dipped with three colors of spray paint in a bucket of water.

 

Makes it look just skinned and bloody. Pretty sweet good job

A long drive from the SLP. .Can't see anyone beating his price.

 

It's been 2 years since I have had the bronze 1 done. His prices may have gone up It was my daughters buck
She wanted to try her hand at Taxidermy
She never got around to doing it and the head and cape sat in my freezer for 7 years
When I finally brought it to him he suggested the solid bronze coloring as the skull would be discolored due to freezer burn

 

I did these at home with a kit from my dip kit , not hard but you do need a large container or sink to do it . I have a video when I did the red one but there is a few choice words in there so I should t post it
