About ten years ago, maybe longer, I was rabbit hunting right outside of Ludington and had a mature bobcat step out from underneath a Christmas tree in Christmas tree farm we were hunting. You could hear the traffic from US 10, this was about a mile from downtown.

That's a house cat, no doubt about it. I don't think bobcats curl their front paws like sphinxes like that. And I doubt a bobcat would climb up and sit on something like that, too much human smell.

mydog that quote is pretty funny from ted. i use to hang out with his son and go to his amazing property and when he speaks of "gonzo" that is actually the name of one of his dogs. weird fact
there have been Four "Gonzo" dogs. the origional Chocolate lab owned by Ted, MY black lab/redbone mix I owned as a teenager that was named by Ted, my dad's friend Dale who owns GonzoBear Camp owns another, a wolf/Malamute mix, and Ted's latest lab that he currently owns. the Name of the bear camp in fact came first as his dog wasn't even thought of in 1980 when Ted named our camp.
