:cool:Worked my dog for a corporate group yesterday at a mid- Mich.,preserve.His first venture on anything other than grouse, woodcock, and of course the waterfowl thing this season.(Don't you dare get on me for getting on the pen raised,I live a life where I need to get a little income going into winter:)and have sworn off real work:D)....Just wanted to tell you all it was a great day, after he settled into it.----The weather was good, the group was more than appreciative of good dog work, and they seemed to be tired at the end of 5-6 hours of chasing the longtail.Ended up with a boatload of birds, and a dog that still wanted to keep going. The highlight for me was a couple obvious wild birds we got at the end of hunting time, long trailing,be careful hunts, one a good 3-400 yds.(half hour),ending with a locked dog and rooster. Both were trophy quality birds. One had 30+ bars, the other 38.Two big birds that tested the dog.Hope all the hunters had as much fun as I did, hunting behind a pretty nice dog in his prime.I am indeed blessed.--------Hope this doesn't come off as a brag as much as a guy who loves what he has,a pretty good team-mate to hunt with.................PACO:cool:

Go ahead and brag you put the work into the training and you got great results you earned the right to brag.

And I am glad to hear you had a fun day and made some money doing it.

A good day to hunt, a great dog to hunt with another little gator in the making and your getting paid to hunt, what more could you ever ask for Frank?

You got to love it too when the dog passes out on the floor with a smile on their face.
