me and water_hazard met up with fellow board member Shlwego and his 15yr old daughter Carli for todays youth draw. drew 15 outa 21 and had a great time. She shot really well and handled her gun like a champ. thanks doug and carli for the great time.

I tell ya what, we could not have had a better time. The duck gods smiled for us yesterday. The weather was right (a rarity this season), and The Kid and Hazard put us onto birds. I gotta say that she shot pretty well, but it doesn't hurt to have two excellent wing-shots to back her up . She's been hunting with me for 3 seasons now, and I think last night the hook finally got set - she saw what it could be like - and talked about it the whole way home! What a blast. A huge thanks again to The Kid and Water Hazard for their hospitality!!!
