Was wondering if anyone has any kind of info on Wixom Lake? No need for special places, just a general ice condition info. My parent's live on one of the channel's, but to do work my dad don't get out that often to fish it, let alone check the ice. Anything on either side of the Lake would be greatly appreciated.

Dale, expect 4 to 6 inches infront of the Dundas road launch. The reports are ok with most anglers catching some specs and whitebass. The crazy's are down infront of the tobacco side dam with shantys already. I think that's a little on the crazy side. Did see a snowmobile on the lake up there lastnight when we passed buy it.

Hope this helps you out.

Cool, thanks Griz. Yeah, those people get out their early in front of the dam, those people are nut's. With that, I think the spot I would like to fish should be safe, considering it's only a couple feet deep. Great for lot's of gill's ;)

KBK,
Thanks. Wish I had my son this weekend. He's been asking "Is it time to go ice fishin dad?" Thanks. What a great time to get youngster's out on the hard water for some fun and fishing.
