Well, it's more than I've seen today!! Although, on my way to work this morning, a little late, about 8:30, I did see a fellow hunter loading a a rather nice looking buck into his truck at the edge of a corn field. I couldn't tell the number of points, but it sure was nice! He must have got it right at first light.Does this count ... Wind was wrong for both stands this morning, so I just picked a vantage point where I could see both stands. This group was under 1 stand and another doe n 2 fawns was under the other. It would have been fresh backstrap if the wind cooperated. :lol
a nice beer with some venison steaks would make my day.
question to you all though. with the temp kind of mild, how quickly do you process your deer? obviously a days of hanging may not be the best idea, or is it? maybe a question for a different part of the forum.
