This video popped up today for me on YouTube. Looks pretty killer at first glance. What are you guys thoughts? I have several areas where this would be great as a "quick fix". Maybe it's been on the market for awhile and I'm just living under a rock.

I couldn't locate the product on their website as I was trying to found out the seed blend.

Here’s my take.
Everyone is now selling a screen. And most of them really don’t make much sense (IMO) as far as the seed choices go. And this is a perfect example. During the video, the gentleman mentions its doubles as a food source for deer. Well, if your planting along a road to discourage poaching or shining, it really doesn’t make sense to offer food. If your trying to use the screen to get to or from a stand, food is not what you want in a screen.
Most companies are adding sun hemp, buckwheat, grain sorghum, sunflowers, corn, even climbing peas or beans. That may be fine inside a plot, or on strips used to break up the interiors of plots (compartments), by not a good idea when your hiding things.
Just my opinion.

Was thinking the same thing. I don't want deer eating my screen.

Sure glad I brought it up. Lots of good input. I do have a couple spots within food plots where I planned on putting in taller strips to break up line of sight for the deer and provide more security within. Seems like this could work well for that, but could have unintended consequences in other areas.

Sorry for the plug..
But we sell screens that have zero food in them. And most of ours are still standing today. Pretty tough stuff.
What's the difference in your Egyptian Wheat and your food plot screen?

I think I planted your Egyptian wheat this year and it worked awesome!!!

No need to apologize. I’ll vouch for the Northwoods food plot screen. Worked as advertised for this first time food plotter. Got over 12’ tall in some spots and was still serving its purpose tonight when I was out for late antlerless. No doubt that I’ll be planting more next summer. Thanks for a great product!

I would like to see some current pictures of the above screens. Mine were ok , until the early freeze and snow. They were knocked right down during the gun season, as they turned to a marsh grass color.

Are These Annual or ? Maybe why some talk about planting something more permanent as some like myself don't have the time to replant every year. Guess It is a Trade Off until you can get some Bushes to screen out plots and hunting areas. Might plant some type of Screen and see how it helps.

I second, I think good seed sellers and frequent site visitors such as Northwoods should provide input. While I have not used their screen I have used their other seeds and have had good results.
