We’re doing SoHa tomorrow; weird temps at buoy in 70fow; surf 47; 43.9 10 ft down; recent north blows n this morning’s SSE waves keeps pushing warm water out n cold in. Guess we’ll setup in 80’ or so and keep heading out until we see a few degrees temp break.
50-51 on the beach too. Bring warm clothes.

Well, late report from a little bird changed my plans.

Set up in 120, as soon as we got all rods out we popped a 2# steel in 145ish on a 2 color steelie stomper. While we were fighting that one we had a good rip on a 4 color with Jager bomb.

Hit 160 and get a double, laker on a rigger 127 down with a blue dolphin and a coho on the same 2 color. Get rigger back down with flounder pounder and a swing and a miss in minutes.

Hit 220 and spin back, pop a 5-6# king on flounder pounder down 127 in 165. Then the 2 color goes again with a 6-7# steel. Get the rigger back down and goes off while setting it, big old greaser. Minutes later mag braid dipsey 240 back with white paddle and blue dolphin fly goes off, another big laker.

7 for 9 best water was 145 to 170 top 15 and down 90 to 120.

Lots of clusters of fish on the bottom (thinking whitefish). Marked a lot of fish chasing and moving around. Tons of alewife spinning around at the slip. Most fish had juvy 3" alewives in there guts.

Plans changed as well due to a trusted report, 120-180 still went northwest, doubled up in 180, one coho and pulled hook on the other, turned around and immediately hooked up, lost em, board dived deep, around 160 picked up one more coho. 2-4

Nice to see a report, I stopped down at the boat last night to make sure it was still floating, changed the spark plugs then went for a cruise around the lake.

First time in the boat in 2 weeks.
