Any idea on the law for beer in the boat. I heard a rumor that you can't drink in the boat at anytime, even when anchored. Also heard that this was true for passengers as well as drivers. I usually have a canadian license after our spring fishing trip up there anyhow, and have been thinking of giving whippin a try on the other side this year.
Yep, your right, no booze allowed. Unless your anchored/tied up for the night, and have a head and cooking facilities on board.
We canadians are pretty tight *****ed.
That being said, I don't think I've ever been on the boat without a beer. They typically aren't out harassing you, as long as you don't make it obvious. Make sure the driver is sober, and the worst your going to get is a open alcohol fine, which last time I had one was $130. Probably more now, as its been a few years.
