Anchor Bay is definitely a great spot for pike. Pretty much anywhere up there is good, but I know for sure off of cotton, up towards brandenburg holds good numbers of pike. I don't know if there are any MONSTERS but there are some nice pike. I picked up a nice 28 incher last year while perch fishing. Good luck!

Excellant for pike. Just about anywhere there.

 

Go to Brandenburg Sunday. The water is clear. I was spearing perch today out there and I had pike swim through about 4 times, all nice fish and a huge musky too. They were nice enough for me to consider spearing them but I don't want them. Wished I'd had a tip up; then I could have had the fun and released them!!

8:00am - 5:00pm just north of the pier, 350 yards from shore, 6'-7' fow

Little Muskamoot Bay on Harsens Island can be very good for pike. I've done well on tipups baited with small perch. You are fishing in water >2' so hang the minnow about 6" under the ice.

 

It is on jefferson rd. in new baltimore. Between sugarbush and 23 mile roads.

 

what kind of setup would you need to fish for pike? also if considering spearing pike would you need a separate license just for that? thanks.

Yep,I saw a guy get a nice written "reminder" from the DNR that spearing muskie is illegal on LSC. He knew he had a muskie, but didn't know you aren't allowed to spear them there.

I don't ice fish for pike but I've seen some hogs caught out of the spillway in late Febuary. One day a couple of years ago I saw some guy catch 2 one was 40" the other was 43". They were both in the 20lb range.
