Alway better to over compensate than under...

 

Different boat manufacturers use different model numbers for there boats. I've seen some 170 models that measured 17'11". Also some 1810 models measure 17'8". Not sure exactly what the company uses for the measurement buts is apparent that they don't all measure the boat from the same start to finish. Call it how you see it. Fifth wheels are much the same way.

So lund says its 18'10", call it that. I don't understand why it matters. Is someone going to call you out if you say 19'?

 

Whats it say on the title or registration? Thats what the coast guard or DNR will look at.

 

Congratulations on the best answer. This is what I would have suggested. On the other hand, I have had a lot of MI boats without titles, so tape measure would be next course of action.
