i have a few box of eagle claw fishing hooks pattern 80 size 12 , 100 count . their in a matchbox. carton they came in said copywright 1939. any idea. thanks b.b.
whats it worth ??

Take pictures. With old collectable stuff the condition of the box is very important. Especially with something like hooks where the box is probably what the collectors are after.
One way to find out is list one on Ebay. Ebay is a great tool for finding out what something is really worth because there are enough people looking you always get some interest.
If you want an "appraisal" list it with a high reserve price like $100. Then you basically spent $2-3 to learn what it's worth when the auction doesn't reach the reserve value.
