Over the years I have heard the term "flossing" mentioned in these forums. I have been flyfishing for steelhead for a good many years and I still don't know exactly what that word means. I indeed fish for spawning fish and I use wet flies and streamers on a short leader of about 4-6 ft. I approach the fish from up and across stream and swing my fly in front of the fish and when they do strike, they are always hooked in the mouth. I always practice catch and release other than one fish for my mom each spring. Am I doing something illegal or unethical?
