Put a hurt on divers on an inland lake today. Me and my dad got a nice mix bag, 4 buffies, 1 bluebill, 3 golden eye, and 3 ww scoter. Memorable hunt with snow falling 35 degrees. Looking at forecast it’s looking like a short season again. Marsh, pond, small lakes will most likely not even get 30 days in. Many inland lakes may not get 45 days if this pattern holds on. Oh I know the east end and Lake Michigan will be waiting for those thanksgiving mallards to show up.

Still getting after it, 2 buffies, 1 redhead, 1 goldeneye. Shot horrible on the buffies should have several more. Supposed to drop to 15 degrees tonight hoping lake stays open
