NADA ZIP ZILCH pretty much describes the fishing, lots of guys no fish....period. Casted a myriad of lures to no avail. Hopefully the cohos and kings and browns start herding the bait to the piers soon...

Good luck to those of you who are going.

Also got to meet and talk to fishindude(sp?) very nice meeting and talkin with you!

Nice meeting you, too, CM. After you left I saw a Brown hanging just under the surface, in the river channel. Some guys were casting to it, but it wouldn't chase or bite. Saw some small groups of large Alewives cruising around, but no big schools - but I did not wander to the end of the pier, either. Didn't see anyone with fish on, but Saturday was bright and sunny, and the lake was lay down calm while I was there.

When I got to the pier, I dressed in my usual foul weather gear - Cabela's Guidewear, and heavy boots. It was cool out, but as soon as the sun came up, there were lots of walkers going up and down the pier, and plent of them had flip-flops on. I was wayyyyy overdressed.
