Well guys what do ya think is this the year the "cycle" is going to change in our favor in terms of water levels in the local marshes. I'm not talking about making it easier to get in so much as higher water levels creating better habit and more of it for the flights to utilize! It's been a long time since we have had consistant quality water levels. Maybe this is the year? With the recent rains we are off to a good start. :D

I was up in the Muskegon and the water is high, talked to the DNR and some guys who live on it and said that the breading population is up. With the high water through there are alot and I mean alot of jams. If you go bring your chainsaw.

I have the opportunity to hunt with a buddy in a west side marsh. Last year the water up some. There was limits of wood ducks to be had. Can't wait for the opportunity to take three. Here in the next couple of weeks, we will be going in to cut a path and add a few boards. I can give a report then.
