DO NOT trust my pics without information from the ground.

I will be fishing Burt Lake this weekend not Saginaw Bay if that tells you how I feel about what I saw.

Here is the West Side as I flew from the North.

We know from NOAA satellite that a huge shelf floated to the east so there is open water/skim ice right off the end of shore ice.

Be Safe please, I do these flights in hope of zero fatalities.

I’m still holding out hope, nothing concerns me more than wind at this point.

There were a couple, but close to shore and without machines. I still have hope.
