Weekend Bay Fishing/Pic

Fished out of Au Gres Both Sat and Sun. Started out Sat looking for some better fish but didnt fair to well. Hit a few way points from last year with not much luck just a couple of shorties! Got a call from a freind out in front of point Au Gres so i headed back in there. Set up for about an hour only catching a couple of small keepers and a couple of shorties and didnt mark much either. Told my crew we had to get out of here and go find some fish so i headed south. Ran south to some more way points from last year ,didnt take 5 minutes and all hell broke loose. Ended up filling a 4 man limit in about 2 and 1/2 hrs and tossing that many back. Did get one just over 7 lbs and the rest were 17 to 21 inches. Purple and pink spinners behind 1 oz in-lines 20 to 25 back and 2 oz bottom bouncers with a spinner straight behind the back of the boat. Not a boat with in 3 miles of us!
Sunday ran back to the same area and filled a 4 man limit in short order. All in all was a GREAT weekend and the weather was AWESOME!! Heres a pic of my son with the bigger eye!!
