Thanks anyway neversunk. Picking up some cleats on the way. I am still hopeing to get out by 2:00 if I can get my work done. My dad is overdue for a good icefishing trip. A couple of those big jumbos and he may be running out there next time. The four wheeler has been running great lately but is a little old and tired. The thought of having any problems w/ it in the dark are enough to make me walk.

Heading out w/ my dad somewhere Wed. afternoon. Probably will go to Crocker launch. Just wondering how much slush and water was on the ice today. We will be on foot and don't want to work him to hard. I don't think he's up for the walk all the way out to the pack, but maybe we can get into a few a little closer in.

Well the old guy did alright and we made it out to the pack. Fished from 2-6:30. One hit until 5:30 then they turned on a little. We ended up w/ 8 nice ones and missed another half dozen. Threw everything at them before that but almost all fish and hits came on the two bobber lines w/ chart. hook and minnow. Biggest perch my dad has ever caught so it was well worth the walk. May make it out Fri. a.m if the weather is not too bad. Ice cleats were a must today.
