Went to an outing at Metro on Sat. Arrived at the beach. Unloaded the truck. Put my creepers on and off we went. Set up in front of the beach with high hopes of icing some fish. Take the creepers off inside the shanty. Sit there fishing and watching the sun come up. Seeing no fish. Get out and walk over to wife and sons shanty to see if they see any fish, of course no! Go walking back and fell right on my back and head. Lying there in pain yelling #$*&%[email protected] I lay there for a few, finally I get up and make my way back to the shanty, in pain. Stayed the rest of the day only felt like moving once. Today still in pain. Should feel better by next weekend. Oh ya, one fish. Moral of the story is WEAR YOUR CREEPERS. It sucks falling. Wear your creepers

Good advice.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to take mine out of my gear sled to save weight. Went out Saturday and was kicking myself for saving a few ounces by leaving them at home - ' bout fell on my can three or four times. They went back in my sled when I got home.

Hope you recover quickly.

Yeah that story sounds familiar. My buddy had a pair of creepers and I did not last week. he gracioulsy loaned me one and he wore the other. Unfortunatley on the way in he slipped and did the same thing you did. But, he knocked himself out cold. He woke up and did not know where he was. It was a scary moment but he's all right now. I felt terrible.
