Waukegan, IL 5/6/07: As soon as the water got up to 44 degrees this week, the bait came in, and the coho followed with a vengeance. Got limits of coho and perch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The weather is still iffy. Most days the last week, have been 2-4's with 15-20 mph wind. All the fishing has been in close. This weekend should be the start of the offshore Kings. We are about 10 days off of where we were last year with weather and water temp. hopefully this week we will catch up with the king bite we had in late April last year. I will keep you posted.......Capt. Cliff J.
