Decided to get out late Friday night and do some casting on the SCR for some eyes. At midnight it was 65 degrees, light wind and the solunar forecast said excellent fishing with 1-3AM being prime time. Boat isn't 100% or I would have been out after sturgeon. Started casting at 1AM, took a good hour to hook the 1st fish and it turned out to be a smallmouth , fished till 4AM and caught 2 more smallies and a couple rockies.

Think the river needs to cool down a bit more for the walleye to really start to come to life.
