Hit the ice before daylight down to the end of the tree line. After four moves with only six fish ended up about a mile past tree line and past a few large ice jams. Ended up with forty 9 to 10s with a couple 11s. No big jumbos but some nice meals. Caught dink's all day. Used a guster with a soft chartreuse most of the day. Lots of rough ice out there and a little snow on top today covered a lot of big bumps so be safe out there and tight lines.. Saturday only got 15 I never could find them

Yes it is..and they had minnows if you need them. Saturday they didn't have any minnows and guys were waiting for them until 9 or 10 o'clock.

We fished out of there yesterday, on foot, and iced about 25 nice gills.....action was slow, lots of fish seen, but only 10% interested in biting. It was an overall good day with Ron and just getting out of the house and over some fish....lots of big fish cruising, but not interested in much. Tried minnows, waxies, spikes, etc. They either came rushing into the hole and bit, or they just nosed around and then backed out. Saw a few pike, lots of big bass, but mostly nice gills and perch in 3 fow straight out from the Bass Haven cut. We'll be back over there in mid to late Feb, provided we don't get some big rains in the meantime.
