Trolling Motor Help

I have a Minn Kota Power Drive V2 trolling motor. I have power to the propeller, but not the steering unit. I took it to lockmans's and it worked fine. I have a Lund 17.5 fisherman. I purchased a new battery and changed the circuit breaker on the trolling motor. Any suggestions? I am hoping to get out on the water soon. Anthony 313-647-1012.
