Nice catch! Trolling body baits can certainly be effective for 'eyes. I've gotten many bonus 'eyes (and bass, usually big) fishing for pike.

Decided to try pulling body baits took a while to dial them in but once I did lots of action
Flicker minnow no. 9 caught most of the eyes
but did get a few on bandits as well. 20 FOW
did the best for me speed around 2..
