I may be a little late with this idea but it's something I would like to pass on for next year. A couple of years ago my wife and I purchased a new artifical Christmas tree. The old one was still in decent shape. I had a thought about using the removable limbs for treestand camo. You see a lot of advertisements for leaf camo that fastens to your bow, treestand, whatever. Well try the limbs from a artifical christmas tree. You can get creative with ideas on how to attach these limbs to your stand. I drill a bunch of holes in a piece of wood and clamp it on my treestand with a couple of hose clamps. Once the stand is in place in a particular tree I then just stick the limbs into the holes in a random order. I have found that even in an oak tree the deer don't notice anything different. It really helps to breakup your sillouette and movement. By the way I would not suggest drilling any holes in your treestand. It may cause the stand to break. And don't take any limbs from your new tree I promise your wife will notice.
