Has anyone done it or know of anyone having success ? I'm not sure if the little invasive b tards have made it up there yet? I will prob take traps either way but maybe some input would help. I ll be somewhere in central u.p. Ish Thanks.
I do really well every year when I stay on Big Manistique during the summer... 2 years ago I dropped a couple traps out by one of the islands overnight and had over 100 the next morning. I am sure that anywhere you can find some rocks in water you are going to find some. All I get out of there are the blueish Northerns
I am a bit East of you. 3-5 years ago I used to come up for a 3 day weekend, and I could drop three traps on lake shore and pull 50-60 a night. I would do that 2x a year and do a boil. All Virilis species.
The neighbors did some shoreline work, and for two years.... Not a single bug.. Strange...
This year, I am seeing some again at night with a good flashlight, but hesitant to trap. I am going to try the feeder creeks and such.
