Trail camera advice

Can anyone recommend a good trail camera suitable for backyard use? I’m interested in one that automatically sends pictures to my cell phone. I’ve noticed some models that can use up to eight AA batteries. Do these cameras alert you by phone when something triggers them?
Thanks

My stealth cams do, the ap sucked a couple months ago not sending notifications but that got fixed.

I prefer the revolver 360 but the two I have on my property will be going in the woods soon for deer. They take 16 batteries

I have a Fusion Max looking at my chicken coop door since May becuase I think some seasonal workers who live next door didnt know about private property. I had about 2 or 3 weeks of eggs first thing in the spring and then 2 weeks of nothing that I couldnt figure out.

Then I caught the workers on my property looking for morels, but they were looking next to my garage, while I was standing there running a saw.

They were surprised when I told them they were trespassing, so the camera went up on the coop that night.

With us feeding and watering them I do the 1200 pics a month plan for I think 8 dollars a month, most of my stealth cam cell plans are 5 dollars a month for I think 600 pics a month.

Another camera i have looking at my garden is a deceptor, this one and the fusion max might take 16 AA batteries but some of my cameras take 8.

They all use the command ap in your cell phone store, works fine for me

For the backyard get a Tactacam reveal that uses the battery pack and a solar panel. You ll never have to touch it again unless you want to. The app is super easy to use.

Another vote for Tactacam.
Tactacam X 3 - I bought rechargeable battery packs for all of them and have never used AA's. The battery packs will pay for themselves in the long run.

I do have a solar panel as well but have never used it since I am here on a regular basis. The app will tell me when the battery is getting low and I have 1 or 2 spares so I just go out and replace the battery pack. If I lived someplace away from my property I would certainly use the solar panels for recharging.

I also have the Reveals. I haven't bought the lithium battery packs but at Sparkys advice, I did get the solar panels which do have lithium battery packs inside them. I'd also recommend the Reveals although pictures aren't super clear until you get them in the HD version.

You say back yard use... do you have a wifi signal there? If so look into a wifi based security camera will be much cheaper I have a few cameras one is a plug-in AC model that records all the time and sends a notification with sound and/or motion, the other runs off batteries and once it detects motion it records video and sends a notification you can then connect and see the video.
