Better yet just take the next trail camera you see on state property leave a note with your name saying you just took it because it was trash with your phone number ! If that was actually the law, then you wouldn't even be allowed to leave anything in your blind. Meaning chair, shooting stick, heater, etc.... Common sense goes a long ways and fortunately the DNR has some. Too bad some hunters lack it.

Whatever, At the top "It states It is unlawful to do the following activities on State lands owned or controlled and posted by DNR, etc. ; penalties can vary & can be severe. If that isn't official, I don't know what is.
