You probably should call the township in question and ask them,
That's what I would do.

i was wondering if township owned land is like state land? the property in question is not in no restricted county.

You need approval from the township. Just like MDOT property, state property but not open to hunting in most cases.

all the township property can be hunted except for the park-damn,two legged dear not an option!!

Up in Ogemaw county there is a township owned property that runs a deer park. If you look on the plat map it is public land, but if you drive by it is the "Big 10 Hunt Club." Miles of public land that I can't hunt.

I think somebody buttered somebodys bread to get in on that deal...
