Drive to the Saginaw Bay!

Just kidding, I have trouble finding eyes on Thornapple Lake myself but have seen some very nice fish that were caught there.

I think slip bobbers with leaches or crawlers have to be the trick but haven't done well with anything on that lake.

Usually the water clarity is bad to horrible. So my best luck has been with lures that bump or grind into deep cover or bottom or loud lures like a rattle trap. Tough lake to fish most times IMO.

I went to thornapple tonight, don't bother for a while. Looked like soup. Docks are all underwater and I'm thinking the only way to catch something would be with dynamite!

Thanks for the tips guys! I think we are gonna try on Sunday, depending on how we do Friday on Croton. We haven't had much luck either besides some small bass.
