i am thinking of making my first run to erie tommorrow for the first time, i will be trolling, thinking of heading out from erie metropark, any certrain areas you guys could point me towards, i am trying to stay within ten miles of shore first time on new boat wanna kind of shake things out. thanks

It might be a good idea since there are at least two tourney's on the river tomorrow in addition to everyone being off on a beautiful day. I think I'm gonna do the same but don't look to do much this early in the season. I'm also gonna sleep in and let the crowds get off the water. Especially since I'm still up this late.

If you can I would head south to Bolles or Luna to troll. I'll probably go out of Erie only because I have the passes and it's close to the house. Good Luck.
