In a disease positive herd, it is believed that older deer have a higher prevalence of disease.
Many believe you would want to focus on keeping the herd on the younger side in those areas.
I think you might agree.

Many Michigan hunters complain about a weekend for youth. Can you imagine the outcry with a two-week youth season?

Never once complained about a youth season. Nor would I with a kid of my own eventually hoping to be a youth hunter. Lots of states have a youth season. But lots of states don't have jealous old men complaining about a kid shooting a nice buck.

No tags for outsiders only Michiganders
Kill all the wolves
Do not compare Michigan to other states but compare it, because obviously we are doing something wrong as Michigan sucks especially on public land.
No stands left behind rule. Make it illegal to leave anything in the woods ever. Make them get a climber or sticks.
