I dont think this website has enough bandwidth for me on this subject.;)

A few that stick out are:
Downrigger rods called Travers Bay Slammers. Look and feel exactly like eagle calws but within 3 weeks 3 out of the 4 broke.
Fished an entire summer with "The Amazing Flying Lure" and never caught a fish.
And many lures that catch the fisherman's eye but not fish.

Dude, I LOVE those Travers bay slammers. They're $15 at MC Sports on sale.

I have a bunch, and they've all been great for me. My biggest fish last year (~25lbs) fought for 30 minutes on one of those cheapo rods.

Banjo Minnows is at the top of my list to. Of coarse some people I talk to have really good luck with them. The only thing I caught on them was a 12 inch trout out of a trout farm. Never did return them darn things either.

I have also gone through many reels. Hopefully this one will be the last for awhile, I hope...

I bought some worthless spoons from gander mountain.I didnt know what I was thinking they were way to heavy for using down at the river.
Also some yozuri`s that look like a fat smelt, totaly worthless,I have ran the crap out of them and nothing ever wants them.
As far as those banjo minnows now guys try using them in ponds for bass.I cast them out in ponds with with just tiny small split shot and twitch them slowly.Next thing you Bam! Fish on.:D

You wouldn't mean their crystal minnow, would you? I have had one of those for a few years now, and have zero hits on umpteen tries. It pretty much stays dry now.

I bought 5 Browing spinning reels at MC Sports in '98, they were on sale for $15 bucks a piece. So far I've burned 4 of them up on the Grand on Salmon. The drag turns into chunks of metal and plastic after a long run. I should have spent the money on one nice Penn or Diawa.

No actualy I have pretty good luck on a couple of color variations of the crystal minnow in the smaller sizes.
These yozuri`s are about 4 1/2 long colored like a smelt with round fat bodys but long like a minnow. Also theres the one I bought that looks like a bomber long model A thats colored like a blue prisism,Its totaly worthless as well.Maybe it works trolling but running it off the wall on my river rods is another story.
A bunch of guys also last year bought these generic flash bombers from somewhere in town here and they leaked.Every darn one of them. Then the place where the purchase was made gave people a hard time about refunding on them.
Im glad I didnt waste any money on those but I envy the guys that did.
