Mounted by Jim Kuntze of B & J Tadxidermy in Daggett (Menominee County). This was the first time I used Jim but my former taxidermist in Iron Mountain retired. Jim was recommended to me by @sparky18181 and I was happy to get the recommendation - thanks again Kevin.

I hung him on this wall temporarily until I can figure out what to shuffle to get him on the main wall in the cabin.

This is where he will be displayed soon.

Looks good. I too am anxiously awaiting. Talked to my taxidermist a few weeks ago and he said we were almost done.

LOL - I thought he was bigger when I shot him too. He did suffer some ground shrinkage ... I green scored him in the mid 130's when I shot him. The 2 abnormal points (stickers) are deductions with no credit so that hurt him some. Still....the stickers do give him some character so I won't hold it against him. :)

Thanks

Thanks @benelli/girl...but half of them are Elaine's  We are going to rearrange them some when we hang this one so that her's are on one half and mine are on the other side.

Personally I love the stickers and the character! Would take that over score any day. Great Buck!

That's a big- one there.
Serious sized buck too!
Even the mount looks extra heavy.

Thanks @Smallie12. More wall space for mounts is always nice to have....but the opposite wall in the cabin is filling up with hides, fish, etc...

and it is getting a little cramped in the Situation Room in the barn as well. My wife is a real game hog!
