Great report. Thanks I’m going to try Lexington soon.
I actually thought about putting a perch imitation on but black and silver kept firing so I figured why bother.
Looking forward to them!Yay go Andy! Oscoda reports coming soon!

Did the lakers put up a descent fight in the cold water? Now we know where all the perch went. You could have a perch dinner too.
They are a lot of fun especially on the walleye gear just not as much as browns and silver.I'm actually surprised. I remember one year in the cold water they actually would fight pretty good. They were too stuffed with perch, that's why they were lazy
One of the very very best lures anywhere
Looks like 3-4 year classes of perch in that one fish.Did the lakers put up a descent fight in the cold water? Now we know where all the perch went. You could have a perch dinner too.
If we could just train them to eat Cormorants…I actually thought about putting a perch imitation on but black and silver kept firing so I figured why bother.
Andy, its great to see you back on the portal, nice job on those early lakers !(Feel free to post nearby ports as well. )
Got back from Florida Monday, saw that they put a dock in in East Tawas yesterday so I figured I could get a morning trip in before the next storm system gets here. Went out solo and fished from 10-20 FOW. Ran black and silver husky jerks 30-50 behind the boards. 2.0 mph. Ended up going 9 for 11 on all lakers. Cookie cutter 10-12 lbs. Water was extremely cold hovering just over 32 degrees. It had great color though. All the fish were full of perch. Great to be back out there again. View attachment 888361
