I recieved a "2003 survey of furbearers observed by archery deer hunters" in the mail this past week. It says I was selected because their database identified me as an anrchery hunter who hunts more than 10 days per season. I do remember filling out some surveys in the past. It also says I'm one of 400 people from zone 3 for this. I was wondering if anyone else got one this year. I've never heard of it before. I plan on doing it, I figure it can't really hurt any.

I got one this spring about the previous furbearer season (because I bought a fur harvester license). I haven't heard of the survey you mentioned, but it looks like a good idea. Shouldn't take the DNR long to realize the predator population is way out of control. I shoot about 3 raccoons every year while bowhunting. I even had a fox go right under my stand on opening morning a few years back. I just started to draw, and it spooked.
