What all are you looking for?

As far as equipment goes, you need:

Waders

2 pole holders I use 3' 5/16" rod with 1' of 2" pvc or cardboard tubes duct taped to the rod...

2 8 - 10' rods(something that will cast pyramids up to 2 oz with 3000 - 4000 size reels with 8# line.

Some floating spawn bags or smelt

pyramid sinkers, barrel swivels, snap swivels or sliders and some good hooks.

Rig your rods with the slide/snap swivel on your main line so you can hook your weight to that and have it free slide when a fish hits tie your main to a barrel swivel large enough to stop your slide. Tie a 1-3' leader (shorter in rougher conditions) to the barrel and a hook on the end.

Basically wade out to your waist or so, cast out, leave the bail open walk back up to the beach and snug up slack line put it in a holder and wait for them to find your offering....
