Fished sunday am and pm out from Palmer rd. Ice was good at least 6" everywhere we tried. Perch action was very slow with only 1 worth keeping. Bounced around trying to find them with no luck. Talked to the DNR fish survey guy in the morning and no one was having any success. The evening produced 2 sub-legal walleyes. There were several machines going out, but no farther than the first crack.

my dad and i fished the PM off palmer. We got out at around 3:00 walked just past the white ice about 75 yards onto the clear. sat up and immediately had perch in the hole. caught 15 perch worth keeping. 13 of them were 7-8 inchers and 2 were 12+. also got a nice walleye about 23". 5.3 ft. no3 dojiggers were best. Anything white and yellow worked.
