Without knowing a ton about the St. Joe, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say its going to be Very High and Muddy.

Some of the larger rivers Like the Grand, won't peak until several days after the rain have quit, I'd guess the Joe is still on the rise..
Not looking good for all weekend. Mechanical Head is exactly right. It is still rising. Here is the stream flow graph. I fish the Joe a lot. When the gauge height on this graph gets above 7.0, it is getting muddy. 7.5 is the top end for fishing in my book and that is in poor conditions. Watch this site for it to recede.

I cancelled a planned trip to B.S. last weekend due to the water conditions everyone was discussing. My buddy and I are committed this weekend to a Sunday- Monday fishing trip, have a cabin reserved for two nights. I've been watching the USGS Gage Height (thanks EdB) and it's been heading steadily down the last 2-3 days.

Any idea on the water conditions I can expect late this weekend?? Has to be better than last weekend - I hope!!

Thanks

This morning the Charters were back out on the Joe. and the water level is going down. This weekend would not be to bad to fish. If anything you could get out on the piers. They have been taking some browns, steelies and white fish.
