Anyone have any luck here fishing? Getting sick of day sail and looking to try stoney, thinking about heading out there tomorrow any feedback is much appreciated.

I fished there Friday nada,,, the ice has some pretty nasty spots 7 inches down to two where the channel runs thru,, carry a spud.

Fished it saturday. Nothing but dink perch. The ice did have a few sketchy looking spots out towards the channel that I did not venture close to to check the thickness.

I fished it two weeks ago ice was bad in channel also. Same thing dink perch. I suggest going to canada and taste what the big lake fishing is like. If no machine, auger and bucket. Bring a compass, GPS, and eat a big breakfast. Just hit the deeper water and work it. Once you find them, game on and hopefully you have 6 pound on and another one of whatever you are catching them on.
