The main lake at Stoney is now ice covered. Will check for thickness on Friday and report. Its looking good!!!!

Thanks Mike for keeping us posted. I was thinking of maybe trying there for a bit sunday morning. Now it looks like I might have the option of either the north lake or the main lake.

Very safe ice Les. No worry about taking a bath.

I have been out the past three days, lots of very small perch. I started using leaf worms and the perch were more aggressive and a little larger, but still undersize. No action on tip ups. Ice ice 6" everywere I have been.

Small perch in north lake or main lake? Sounds like good pike bait. Mike thanks for the updates. is the main lake safe now?
I should be out there for sure on sunday afternoon. Debating to go there Saturday or out to SNG or Metro?

This is the main lake out about 200 yards from the boat ramps. I was using the pearch as tip up bait but didn't have any luck.
