Went to a fish farm in Ohio yesterday with intentions of getting some channel cats to put in my pond, buddy who went with me said he had stocked some hybrid striped bass last year and they were doing great, so I ended up getting 35 stripers along with the cats. Has anyone stocked hybrid stripers and if so what have they done in your pond??

In Eastern Colorado they have a lot of lakes stocked with white bass/striped bass hybrids. They call them 'Wipers'. Many of the lakes, such as Union Reservoir and Cherry Creek Reservoir, among others, have co-existing and thriving wiper and catfish populations with both species approaching 20 lbs. Both reservoirs have thriving shad populations, and also have rainbow trout, walleye, smb, and crappie.

If you like 10 pound white bass.

Wipers used to be a common fish for stocking to help control an over abundance of baitfish, like shad. They eat more and grow faster than white bass, so they do eat a ton. And they are sterile so they won’t reproduce. So long term they require restocking. For a small pond you might also need to stock bait every year too if the pond doesn’t already grow a ton of minnows.
