Try the NW rivers forum for more responses. The cold water forum usually is reserved for big water trolling or general cold water species questions.

My best friend and hunting partner is coming up next weekend. Wed like to try our hand at steelhead, again.
Is anyone familiar with the Boardman in Traverse City or the East Jordon/ Boyne area.
In the past we fished Elk rapids with no luck, time we branched out.
Any info regarding the above locations and techniques would be greatly appreciated.
